lyrics
I wrote you for a while in the back of my head
Couldn’t commit to any words on a page
Tried to extract everything like I could forget
Held my head under water until I felt it
Until I felt it, felt it
Never really knew what the silence meant
Always feared the worst- and always tried to settle it
Choked on my words while you choked down your cigarette
Time has a wandering way with us
way with us, away with us
I don’t want to apologize just to exist
slouch my shoulders until my chest caves in, caves in
I don’t want to apologize to exist
I dont want to apologize just to exist
Never really knew what the silence meant
I don’t want to apologize just to exist

This album is one of my favorite albums because of how raw and pure it sounds. The true emotion that comes from Jay's performance is more than believable and it's what helps Crywank stick as a proper musical icon. 10/10 would recommend to everyone if they were more than willing to give it a try. saintjimmy57

Sweet, sharp indie rock from PA's Sara Renberg reflects the fluidity of queer identities & relationships through personal storytelling. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 9, 2021
Crywank with extra steps. I love these artists and nothing can take away from the fact that they have undeniably wonderful songwriting abilities but they might be better off having a engineer/producer do the recording. Still a fascinating listen with interesting experimentation and more lo-fi than Crywank had ever been. it's got a unique kind of charm to it being as d.i.y as music can possibly get but also holds it back a bit.
